Nova Paredes, n.º 21, 1.º andar, 4585-359 Paredes, Portugal (hereinafter “DPC”). For any matter relating to the processing of personal data, you may contact us at geral@diffperspective.net.

2. Personal Data Collected

Through this website, DPC collects personal data exclusively when the user provides it voluntarily, through the contact form: type of request (company or professional); name; email address; company (only for company requests); content of the message; browsing language and date/time of submission. Additionally, for technical and security reasons, data such as the IP address may be processed on a transient basis, used exclusively for protection against abusive use (for example, limiting the number of submissions) and not retained for other purposes. This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

Personal data are processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases: responding to contact requests and requests for information about services — pre-contractual steps taken at the data subject’s request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and DPC’s legitimate interest in responding to communications received (point (f)); assessment of expressions of interest from professionals — pre-contractual steps (point (b)); website security and abuse prevention — legitimate interest (point (f)); compliance with legal obligations (point (c)).

4. Recipients of the Data

Data submitted through the contact form are processed, on behalf of and under the instructions of DPC, by technical service providers that ensure the operation of DPC’s website and email (email sending and hosting services and web hosting services), acting as processors, with processing within the European Union. DPC does not sell or transfer personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data will only be disclosed to public authorities where required by law. Additional information about the service providers used may be requested at any time via geral@diffperspective.net.

5. International Transfers

DPC favours providers that process data within the European Union. Where a provider may involve transfers of data outside the European Economic Area, such transfers take place under appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR, namely adequacy decisions of the European Commission or standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention Period

Data submitted through the contact form are kept for the period necessary to handle the request and any subsequent relationship, not exceeding, as a rule, 24 months after the last contact, unless longer retention is required by law or necessary in the context of a contractual relationship established in the meantime.

7. Data Subject Rights

Under the GDPR, the data subject may at any time exercise the following rights: access; rectification; erasure (“right to be forgotten”); restriction of processing; objection; portability; withdrawal of consent, where applicable, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise your rights, contact DPC at geral@diffperspective.net. DPC will respond within a maximum of one month, extendable under the terms of the law.

8. Complaints

Without prejudice to any other remedy, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — in Portugal, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.

9. Security Measures

DPC adopts technical and organisational measures appropriate to the protection of personal data, including encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS), access control, two-factor authentication on internal systems and minimisation of the data collected.

10. Minors

This website and DPC’s services are not intended for persons under 18 years of age, and DPC does not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

DPC reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. Changes will be published on this page, with an indication of the date of update.
